Though he rarely leaves the forest, he is filled with curiosity and a craving for life.His voice is soft, and haunting. Each word comes out slowly, and he rarely speaks. While being fluent in Eorzean, Oleander simply prefers not to say anything if he does not have to.They have no respect for rules or laws, and have a hard time getting along with any do-gooders because of this. Though he has no qualms with stealing, he still tries to avoid bloodshed. This is sometimes a challenge as he has a bit of an ego, but he hates being inconvenienced more.Along with his dubious morals, he is fiercely loyal. Oleander will stop at nothing to please his friends, often bringing surprise gifts for them just to see a smile on their face. This includes food, as he'll often bring gifts of fish for those he cares for.His gullibility is his biggest downfall, as once you have his trust, he'll believe almost anything you tell him. Having no strong beliefs of his own, he simply assumes everyone else must know what they are talking about.

A very large, strange Au Ra that Oleander ran into in the markets. He was immediately drawn to the man's unusual aether and took to watching him whenever he'd come into town. After an unsuccessful feeding attempt, he was summarily taken in by Ariq and now lives with him. He spends the majority of his time following Ariq around in his day to day life and adventuring. Oleander is completely devoted to Ariq.

A kindred soul, Oleander cares deeply for Alfeaux. They met under strenuous circumstances, and have since been close. Spending the majority of their time in comfortable silence, the two can often be found napping together or enjoying strolls through the Lavender Beds. Tastes good.

Ultimate shark bitch. Oleander "met" Khei while out fishing, leading to a fight for their lives before realizing neither one was food. Oleander finds her fun, even if she loves to boss him around and tease him.

A strange, well-spoken man that Oleander ran into in the Ul'dah markets. Keiteaux has become a father figure to Alfeaux, meaning the poor old elezen is subjected to Oleander near daily. Oleander loves to let himself into Keiteaux's house, and help himself to his wine.
